[00:00:01] Speaker A: Hello? [00:00:02] Speaker B: You guys, stop. Isn't Mom o' clock yet? I'm going crazy. [00:00:08] Speaker A: Heck, yeah, It's Mama Clock somewhere. Welcome back to Mama Clock. It's been three weeks since the first day of school. [00:00:21] Speaker B: How do I look? Do I look refreshed? [00:00:23] Speaker A: Skinny? Clawing? [00:00:25] Speaker B: Thank you, thank you. [00:00:26] Speaker A: And just, like, relax. [00:00:28] Speaker B: I mean, I have to say. [00:00:31] Speaker A: What do you have to say? [00:00:32] Speaker B: I think I'm a better mom when I spend a little time away from my kids. [00:00:37] Speaker A: I mean, I can't agree more. Even if you go upstairs and take a shower by yourself, just a little [00:00:43] Speaker B: bit of time away. [00:00:43] Speaker A: I'm not even telling you to leave the house. I'm telling you to go upstairs and sit on the toilet alone. [00:00:47] Speaker B: No, but when they do leave the house and I'm alone in my house for hours on end, I know I'm the best. Tell me everything myself. [00:00:55] Speaker A: Like, what have you done? I just pictured you with, like. Like, slapping on your rubber gloves and, like, just cleaning the floor like this for shits and gigs with, like, music blasting. [00:01:03] Speaker B: Imagine. Just got a new pair of purple rubber gloves. [00:01:06] Speaker A: Me too. Minor purple. [00:01:07] Speaker B: Purple. But no, I'm not doing that. [00:01:09] Speaker A: I'm not a fan of the color Purple tents. Yellow, purple. Hate them. No, I seriously can't agree more. Tell me why you agree. [00:01:16] Speaker B: I just think that, like, I am so, such a. I'm, like. I can, like, breathe a little bit better. I'm not so overstimulated. I can just be a much better version of myself and show up better for my kids. [00:01:29] Speaker A: Can I ask you something? Yeah. So. Because I feel insane sometimes. [00:01:34] Speaker B: Like, I mean, same couple weeks ago, [00:01:35] Speaker A: the night before school. [00:01:36] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:01:37] Speaker A: I was, like, a nervous wreck because I'm like, lunch, getting him in the car, shoes, outfit, packing underwear, packing his change of clothes. Like, doing all the things so my mind's just running. He's, like, skipping around the house because he has no idea. And I get a little overstimulated, which makes me a little bit, like, fresh. [00:01:54] Speaker B: Like. Yeah. Like, on edge. [00:01:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:01:56] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, Same. [00:01:57] Speaker A: And then I feel guilty. [00:01:59] Speaker B: Guilty, the mom guilt. The mom. [00:02:01] Speaker A: And I cry. And I apologize to my son, and he has no idea why I'm apologizing. Yeah, but I get, like, fresh because I'm just nervous and I'm overstimulated. But then I go, like, do the thing. Like, maybe, like, cut his grapes and strawberries for the morning. Taking time to do that myself. And I'm like, a world of a difference. Mom. No, I mean, and I feel different. [00:02:22] Speaker B: I even feel different. Like, Just going for pickup. Like, just like I'm ready. I'm ready to, like, I'm ready to be your mom again. I just, I had a little time to myself and now I am ready. [00:02:32] Speaker A: I can be your mother. [00:02:33] Speaker B: I can sleeve again. Like, I will keep it and I'll [00:02:35] Speaker A: do 10 times more and I will [00:02:36] Speaker B: do it better and I will do more. [00:02:37] Speaker A: I will make you Mickey Mouse grilled cheeses in the shape of a Mickey Mouse. [00:02:42] Speaker B: That. First of all, I do have to say something so funny. When you were cutting the sandwich and you said it was a bear and it wasn't, did you not know it was a bear? I was. [00:02:50] Speaker A: Because it's the bear. So I'm thinking when I put it in those bear ears. [00:02:53] Speaker B: You got tricked. [00:02:54] Speaker A: Tricked. Tricked. Anyway, I can make you a bear grilled cheese. [00:02:58] Speaker B: Yes. [00:02:59] Speaker A: When I have time to myself. [00:03:00] Speaker B: Yes. [00:03:00] Speaker A: So it absolutely makes me a better mom when I like take time away from my kids. And we're saying this all because our kids are in school now. [00:03:06] Speaker B: Yes. [00:03:07] Speaker A: So now when I go pick up my son. [00:03:10] Speaker B: You're ready. He's gonna be like, who is she? [00:03:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:03:13] Speaker B: Yes. I mean, there's, there's just. It's just better also. What, what do you consider, like, time away? Like, like, do you consider like, going to get your nails done, like a break for you? [00:03:26] Speaker A: No. Or like getting my nails done? [00:03:27] Speaker B: Like that's like a chore. [00:03:28] Speaker A: Yeah, like that's a chore to me. I consider like a break. Like maybe like my husband. Like a true break would be like my husband taking my son somewhere. [00:03:38] Speaker B: So you're not guilty? [00:03:39] Speaker A: So I'm not guilty. I don't have any of us. Cuz when I'm guilty, I'm paralyzed. I like can't do much. [00:03:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:44] Speaker A: So I feel like when I'm not guilty. So that would be. Be my husband taking Gio somewhere. [00:03:49] Speaker B: I still got guilty when my husband takes the kids. [00:03:51] Speaker A: You do. [00:03:52] Speaker B: It's just something about like knowing what hell they're probably going through. Except they're not because the kids are so much more. [00:03:59] Speaker A: I don't know what you're talking about, [00:04:00] Speaker B: but no, I. I guess I feel the most guilt when like. And also fomo. Because I'm so right. I have problems. [00:04:08] Speaker A: Right. [00:04:08] Speaker B: Like, I want to be there. [00:04:09] Speaker A: I know, but then you also don't want to be there. [00:04:11] Speaker B: But then I don't want to be there. Like, see ya. [00:04:12] Speaker A: Yeah, it was like. But you ever, like have the feeling [00:04:14] Speaker B: when they are booked for 12pm tomorrow? [00:04:17] Speaker A: You do. [00:04:17] Speaker B: How sick is that? [00:04:18] Speaker A: It's sick. Yeah, I love that. [00:04:20] Speaker B: Me too. [00:04:22] Speaker A: No, I swear to God, like, I think that would be the only way I could be. Or am. [00:04:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Also, I. I always feel this way when. When I have a girl's night out. Like, it doesn't have to be a vacation. It doesn't have to be a big thing. It's just like one night out with my girlfriends where we can go to dinner and just drink and decompress and talk about our crazy ass kids. [00:04:43] Speaker A: Or you could slip out, fuck our [00:04:45] Speaker B: husband did that we hate and just, like, relax. I feel like coming back home, I could be way more refreshed and just. [00:04:52] Speaker A: Unless you're hungover. [00:04:53] Speaker B: Better. Well, yeah, unless I'm hungover, which I always am, and then I'm miserable and a horrible moment. But that's here nor there. [00:05:00] Speaker A: Literally here nor there. No, but seriously. [00:05:03] Speaker B: No. Yeah, it's just something so. It's like. I think it's controversial to say, like, we're better moms when we're away from our kids. But. [00:05:09] Speaker A: But look at me. And I talked about this with the moms at Gio's first day. It is so much easier to go to work. Why do you think parents go to work? Obviously, the first reason they have to financially. [00:05:22] Speaker B: Right. [00:05:22] Speaker A: But secondly, it is much easier to be away from your kids. [00:05:25] Speaker B: Yeah. I was telling one mom that people think we're insane. No. I told my mom that I had no CANC camps all summer and I was home with my kids and she was like, are you okay, honey? [00:05:33] Speaker A: I'm like, no, not okay. [00:05:35] Speaker B: Send them. Yeah, send them. [00:05:37] Speaker A: That's what I mean. Like, I feel like people look at the world most. [00:05:42] Speaker B: No, parents go to work a lot of. [00:05:44] Speaker A: And they don't deal with it. [00:05:46] Speaker B: Truly. It truly, truly, truly takes a certain type of human that can handle. [00:05:50] Speaker A: And it's not me. So I don't know how I'm doing this. [00:05:52] Speaker B: No, it's so hard. It's hard. [00:05:54] Speaker A: I'm like, I'm all good now. It's like so easy now. And I love it now. I love you. [00:05:58] Speaker B: You're. You're refreshed. [00:05:59] Speaker A: I can't even imagine not doing it. [00:06:01] Speaker B: You're in a collared shirt. Are you going to work? You're at work. [00:06:08] Speaker A: I can't imagine I'm gonna come next [00:06:11] Speaker B: time in a suit. [00:06:11] Speaker A: You won't. [00:06:12] Speaker B: I will. [00:06:12] Speaker A: You don't even own a suit. [00:06:13] Speaker B: Can I borrow one? Your blue one? Your lucky blue suit. [00:06:16] Speaker A: My lucky blue suit. [00:06:16] Speaker B: Can I wear it with that thing? [00:06:17] Speaker A: Yeah, sure. I Just can't imagine staying home all [00:06:23] Speaker B: day with your kids, which we've done their whole life. [00:06:26] Speaker A: It's just like really hard. I don't think anything of it now. Cause it's like my job now. [00:06:30] Speaker B: You know what's really hard? [00:06:31] Speaker A: Do you ever look at it as like a job? [00:06:33] Speaker B: Staying home? Yeah, no, it's just like me, it's just you. It's like who I am. But I also, I give working moms a lot of credit. I give stay at home moms a lot of credit. Working moms a lot of credit. But doing the whole like I lived an entire life before coming here, like for drop off like every single day. Like you live an entire world. [00:06:52] Speaker A: I can't imagine. [00:06:54] Speaker B: Wait. But before even dropping your kid off at school and then you have to go to work and actually produce and do whatever the heck you do at work, like corporate girlies or whatever, any type of job. Like you have to perform, you have to perform at home to get your kids ready and out the door. And then you have to really perform at work so you don't get fucking fired. And then you have to perform when your husband gets fired. [00:07:17] Speaker A: And then sometimes work follows you home. [00:07:19] Speaker B: Yeah, that sucks. [00:07:21] Speaker A: It's just like. Let me ask, we're always performing. No, I feel like I'm always putting on a show. I just feel like today when we had a bee at work. Right. What do parents do when they don't have the leisure? Like we are here for 10, right. So we could drop off our kids and come. What if you don't live in your family? Like you have to do it yourself, you have to be at work. Like I used to start work at 8 o'. Clock. I would be. [00:07:44] Speaker B: Why would you have gone geo to school enough to hire a babysitter to get him to school or something like that. [00:07:49] Speaker A: So Michael leaves at 7, 7:30? Yeah, I would leave at 6:50. [00:07:54] Speaker B: Fucked up earlier than that. [00:07:55] Speaker A: My kid won't even be up yet. I mean my life would be probably easier. [00:08:00] Speaker B: Do you have to wake up Gio for school or. He's been waking up earlier. [00:08:03] Speaker A: He's been waking up earlier. [00:08:04] Speaker B: You know what, it's so funny. [00:08:05] Speaker A: I feel bad that he's like going to bed late. Like I feel like I'm like, it's a school night, you need to be in bed. [00:08:08] Speaker B: School night. I love saying school night. The entire summer. Entire summer. My kids Woke up at 5am Right? Their whole lives and school starts wake up. [00:08:17] Speaker A: No. Really? [00:08:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:19] Speaker A: Like why, what's, what's like the latest time they should be going to bed at school night. [00:08:23] Speaker B: I mean, I, I like any. I like it. [00:08:26] Speaker A: I think my son's not going to bed before eight. I'm talking about after eight. [00:08:28] Speaker B: Oh, like 8:30 is our time. [00:08:31] Speaker A: Nine is what Gio's been doing. Waking up at seven. Is that enough time for a two and a half year old? [00:08:35] Speaker B: Yeah, I think so. I mean, he actually Woke up at [00:08:38] Speaker A: 4am today, came in my bed. [00:08:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:41] Speaker A: So I've been up since three. Did you see me? See? I texted you at like 3am I was up since 3. That's why I'm like running. [00:08:46] Speaker B: I love those late night texts. It's like your brain is just like. [00:08:50] Speaker A: I was so awake, I could have gotten ready and out the door and went for a run. [00:08:53] Speaker B: Yeah, I hate that. [00:08:54] Speaker A: No, I hate it. [00:08:55] Speaker B: Oh, Joe. My, my six year old and I have been doing this thing where he has his hoverboard and he wants to go around the block. That hoverboard can last two miles. He rides it and I, I walk next to it. And then sometimes, sometimes he's like, mommy, come on, you can run. So I'm like trying to like, try. [00:09:12] Speaker A: It's actually so funny and it's so [00:09:13] Speaker B: fun because we went around the block a couple times and I came home and I told my husband. I was like, I just love going on walks with Joey. And he's like, why? What do you guys talk about? I go, we just like talk about life. Like, he's my best friend. [00:09:25] Speaker A: Do you actually talk about life? [00:09:26] Speaker B: Yeah, we were talking like, I love that. Talk about school. Like before school started, I was asked him like, what he was nervous about, what he was excited about and he's just like, he just wants to be like a bro. Like, he just, he just wants to be in. [00:09:38] Speaker A: He's gonna be a bro. But that's spending time with your kid. So tell me about how you feel not. [00:09:43] Speaker B: Not spending time. Right. Okay. [00:09:45] Speaker A: Because I feel like you actually like. I mean, I love spending time kid, but I feel like you never get exhausted from spending too much time or. I've never seen. [00:09:52] Speaker B: Of course I do. When I moved to, I didn't want to die, but I do love spending time with them. But I also have grown to love this time by myself. [00:10:01] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel like you really have taken advantage of it. [00:10:03] Speaker B: Yeah. And I want to more. [00:10:05] Speaker A: We had like a six year old following us around the mall yesterday. [00:10:07] Speaker B: What are you doing? [00:10:09] Speaker A: AKA your son? He was creeping. I was like, what? You don't Care. [00:10:12] Speaker B: No. [00:10:13] Speaker A: That we're not supposed to have any kids. [00:10:14] Speaker B: No kids. No kids. [00:10:15] Speaker A: Yeah. So you are a mom. Three of your kids. Three out of three are in school. [00:10:20] Speaker B: It's like those real. What does that feel? Empty nests. [00:10:22] Speaker A: You've been with your kids for six years. [00:10:25] Speaker B: I know. [00:10:25] Speaker A: What are you doing with no kids at home? Tell me your number one thing that you're doing. [00:10:31] Speaker B: I'm starting. [00:10:33] Speaker A: I started a podcast. [00:10:34] Speaker B: No, I started binge watching. Do you know what show I started? It's called the Secret Lives of Morals. No, the Secret Lives of. Hold on, I gotta find it. Did you hear about the show? No. Because it's like the secret lives of whatever life. Also, side note, suburban moms. Suburban mom. Real life suburban moms. So the regular moms. Regular moms just like us. But they started adult content. OnlyFans accounts. It's the fucking funniest show. And it was on the news. Like the mom was a regular first grade teacher, but she got fired because she started an OnlyFans account and it blew up and she was all over the place news. So she got fired from teacher, but she's making like. She takes a shower. She just filmed herself in the shower. $2,000 naked. Yeah. Would you do it? [00:11:18] Speaker A: No. Like it would not. [00:11:22] Speaker B: There's this other one. You have to watch the show. You absolutely have to watch the show. Also, they're not that hot, these wives. [00:11:28] Speaker A: I mean, I can imagine guys have the lowest standards on planet Earth. [00:11:31] Speaker B: Yeah. But it. It's on tlc, so it's like not that good. It's like trash tv. But it's so funny to watch. Yeah, it's so good. It's good tv. So binging that. [00:11:41] Speaker A: Okay. So binging that. Nice. [00:11:45] Speaker B: I still haven't figured out my gym membership that I'm gonna start to do. [00:11:48] Speaker A: So what we are going to start doing? [00:11:50] Speaker B: Manuel Alpha Fet, baby. [00:11:52] Speaker A: Or even Pilates, I think when we have. Cause your kids are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. [00:11:56] Speaker B: Yes. [00:11:57] Speaker A: So I think Thursdays would be our Pilates day. [00:11:59] Speaker B: Okay. [00:12:00] Speaker A: I think we should drop off and go straight to Pilates. [00:12:02] Speaker B: Straight to Pilates. Let's do it. [00:12:03] Speaker A: So we come in her gear. [00:12:04] Speaker B: Yes. [00:12:05] Speaker A: So that's. That's what we're doing. [00:12:07] Speaker B: Yes. Okay. [00:12:09] Speaker A: Food shopping will be my. [00:12:10] Speaker B: Mine's on Mondays. [00:12:11] Speaker A: Mine because you go to school now. But mine Tuesdays will be. Have to be my. [00:12:15] Speaker B: I love knowing that there's like the day. So my kids are only in school. All of them are only in school three days a week. So I do have them home. [00:12:21] Speaker A: Wait, Joey's in school three days a week? [00:12:23] Speaker B: No, Joey's in school five. But I have two other children home. [00:12:25] Speaker A: Forgot. [00:12:26] Speaker B: Not every day, but. So I love knowing the days that, like, I have a big span of time from 9 o' clock till 3 o'. Clock. Like, you could get a lot of done. You could also do absolutely nothing. And that's good, too. [00:12:40] Speaker A: I know. I love that. You should do absolutely. [00:12:42] Speaker B: Yeah, no, but I'm trying to, like, [00:12:43] Speaker A: I love that, like, Mondays you do food shopping. Tuesdays I do food shopping. Wednesdays is our podcast. Thursdays we go to Pilates and I'm gonna make it, like, my nail day. [00:12:51] Speaker B: Yeah, I gotta do that. [00:12:54] Speaker A: See, it might be like, Pilates or nails. [00:12:56] Speaker B: Because I think we're living our best lives. [00:12:58] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:13:00] Speaker B: Who thunk it? [00:13:01] Speaker A: Who would have thunk? [00:13:02] Speaker B: I have a question for you. [00:13:03] Speaker A: Oh, God. [00:13:04] Speaker B: How much time is too much time away, like, from your kids? [00:13:07] Speaker A: Yeah. So I think I could have. Yeah. So my kid goes to school till 1 o'. [00:13:11] Speaker B: Clock. I feel like you're ready. Or you could have done three. [00:13:15] Speaker A: I could have done two o'. Clock. Three o'. [00:13:17] Speaker B: Clock. [00:13:17] Speaker A: I could have used another hour. I don't know if it's because your son was torturing me in the shoe stores or, by the way, we still didn't pick out a shoe. [00:13:24] Speaker B: Right. [00:13:24] Speaker A: Or I just personally could have done two more hours. [00:13:30] Speaker B: So I'm thinking I was talking more like, I could do a vacation away with Joe for 10 days. [00:13:34] Speaker A: Like, I'm like, two more hours. [00:13:38] Speaker B: I am ready to let them go. [00:13:41] Speaker A: You are actually. [00:13:42] Speaker B: I mean, no, but I don't know [00:13:44] Speaker A: how much I could do at time. [00:13:45] Speaker B: I don't do, like, a weekend getaway away. [00:13:47] Speaker A: I mean. Yeah, you never do that. [00:13:49] Speaker B: I feel like I, like, I feel like now, like, that Rocco, like, has actually left the nest. Like, he's never left me. [00:13:55] Speaker A: He's left. [00:13:56] Speaker B: So, like, he said. He said his goodbye and, like, he's okay. I think that I could leave him for multiple nights away and not feel. [00:14:05] Speaker A: Did you never left Rocco before? [00:14:07] Speaker B: Not. I mean, Joe and I have never been like, only Atlantic City for a night, so. [00:14:11] Speaker A: Which is, like, all you guys need, I feel. [00:14:13] Speaker B: Yeah. Well, I really, truly, like, one night of reset is good for me. [00:14:17] Speaker A: Totally. [00:14:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:14:20] Speaker B: So. So let's plan that trip. [00:14:22] Speaker A: I know. I'm dying for you to plan a trip. Are still going away with your friends? [00:14:26] Speaker B: Yeah, well, we didn't book it, but it's in. [00:14:29] Speaker A: That's, like, crazy that I'm on here. [00:14:30] Speaker B: It's really hard. It's really hard to plan a trip with families. [00:14:33] Speaker A: Can I go? [00:14:34] Speaker B: You can come. [00:14:34] Speaker A: Why didn't you invite me? [00:14:35] Speaker B: Well, because we didn't actually book it [00:14:37] Speaker A: yet, so it's in the works. [00:14:38] Speaker B: But you can come. But would you actually, you said you would never go. [00:14:41] Speaker A: Where are you going? [00:14:44] Speaker B: Puerto Vallarta. Where? I think. [00:14:49] Speaker A: Where's Puerto Viara? Pura Vida? [00:14:53] Speaker B: Pierta Vallarta. Coma. Coma is amazing. Where is it? Wait, can you say? [00:15:00] Speaker A: No, I need to know where you go. [00:15:01] Speaker B: Can you spell socks really fast? [00:15:02] Speaker A: S, O, C, K. S, O, C, [00:15:04] Speaker B: K S. Say it again. S O, C, K S. Yeah, you're speaking Spanish now. [00:15:08] Speaker A: Tell me where you're going. [00:15:10] Speaker B: I don't know. We didn't book it yet. [00:15:11] Speaker A: You said it's in the works. [00:15:12] Speaker B: The works? Yes. It's very hard to plan a trip with a lot of girls and a family of 10 children altogether. [00:15:19] Speaker A: It's actually so cool. [00:15:19] Speaker B: And we want a villa and a butler and a nanny. [00:15:22] Speaker A: Well, I mean, the time's going by. It's already September. [00:15:25] Speaker B: I mean, yeah, but we. And also now we have to figure out schedules. But I don't really care. How do you feel about. Well, your kid's not in. Like, how do you moms feel about your kid missing school when it's not. When school's not out? Like taking a random week away instead of the real spring break. Do you care? [00:15:41] Speaker A: Well, I don't care now because he's not. [00:15:43] Speaker B: Would you care if he was in first grade? [00:15:44] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:45] Speaker B: You would? [00:15:46] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, I don't. Missing a full week of school is a lot. [00:15:49] Speaker B: Oh, I'm gonna do that. [00:15:52] Speaker A: Why? [00:15:52] Speaker B: Just cuz it's way cheaper to go on like an off week than actual spring break. [00:15:56] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, totally. Are you saying in general with your friends? [00:16:00] Speaker B: I'm talking about this one trip right now. But like, in general, like, I feel like I would even if, like, we were doing Disney or something. [00:16:06] Speaker A: Still a lot to miss. There's a lot of work to. [00:16:08] Speaker B: A lot of work. A lot of makeup work. [00:16:09] Speaker A: He's in first grade. How much makeup work could it be? Oh, my God. You don't remember what we used have to do in. In first grade? All the homework? No. [00:16:16] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:17] Speaker A: First gate was homework. [00:16:18] Speaker B: What? No, he's. He. He's getting homework. Yeah, he's also getting crushes, probably. [00:16:25] Speaker A: All right, well, I mean, yeah, take off the week if it's cheaper. Definitely take. [00:16:28] Speaker B: Take off the money. [00:16:29] Speaker A: But I mean, that's like. It would be an off month. [00:16:33] Speaker B: A whole month? [00:16:33] Speaker A: No, it'd be an off month for the. Wherever you're going. [00:16:36] Speaker B: Oh. Yeah. [00:16:37] Speaker A: You know, they like seasons and. [00:16:39] Speaker B: Yeah, well, also it wouldn't be a week. It'd probably be like a couple days. Friday, Monday, Tuesday. [00:16:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Actually, I don't want to go. [00:16:46] Speaker B: I know you don't, so stop acting like you do. [00:16:48] Speaker A: Well, I thought you were gonna go somewhere good and I would have came. [00:16:51] Speaker B: Okay, Wait till you see pictures. You'll be jealous. [00:16:53] Speaker A: You said it's not in the. You said it's not. You didn't even discuss it yet. [00:16:56] Speaker B: We've been discussing. [00:16:58] Speaker A: Show me. [00:17:00] Speaker B: I will. [00:17:00] Speaker A: I want to see. [00:17:01] Speaker B: Okay, I'm just gonna say it. What? Spending less time with your kids is very essential and you need it. Okay, that's my take. [00:17:12] Speaker A: I just need like a. I just need like a half a day and I'm good. [00:17:16] Speaker B: Half a day. But it's so funny because it does fly by. Like we were together and we were like, oh, shit, I gotta go get Gio. I'm like, I don't. [00:17:24] Speaker A: I know. By the time I got home, it was 12:15, and then I had to leave at 12:45. I only had a half hour. [00:17:28] Speaker B: The real is of parents coming home, dropping their kid off, doing one spritz on the table, and then going back. [00:17:35] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:17:35] Speaker B: I can't believe I used to pick Joey up at 11:30. That's crazy. [00:17:39] Speaker A: No offense to, like any moms who do that, but like, that is really, like, insane. [00:17:43] Speaker B: I was that mom, my first kid. I. [00:17:46] Speaker A: 11:30 is crazy. [00:17:47] Speaker B: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9 to 11:30, and I was a nervous wreck. [00:17:52] Speaker A: Speaking of, it's 12:45. [00:17:54] Speaker B: Gotta go. [00:17:55] Speaker A: Just making sure my mother in law's like, ready to rock. [00:17:58] Speaker B: First pickup. How do you do you. Are you sad that you're not picking Gio up today? Yes, that. [00:18:05] Speaker A: That I was almost canceling this. [00:18:07] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:07] Speaker A: I hate that I'm not picking him up. I really do. I don't care. Even if it's my mother in law. He'll be so happy. But like, second day, like, I want [00:18:15] Speaker B: him to know it's not his second day. [00:18:16] Speaker A: Oh, it's not his second day. [00:18:17] Speaker B: His third week. [00:18:19] Speaker A: His third week of school. Cut that out. [00:18:25] Speaker B: Anyway, we're just a bunch of liars. [00:18:27] Speaker A: We're just a bunch of liars. We just lie. Anyway, you absolutely need time away for your kids because you can't become the best version of yourself without it. When you're a working mom, obviously you're away from your kid, but when you're a stay at home. Mom, you have to ask permission to leave your kid unless they're going to school. [00:18:42] Speaker B: Ask to take a shower. [00:18:44] Speaker A: Oh, my God. I don't ask to take a shower anymore. Just go. And he comes in. [00:18:47] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:18:48] Speaker A: And that's that. [00:18:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Also, I think I have to stop showering with Joey. Right? [00:18:51] Speaker A: He's sick. [00:18:52] Speaker B: Dude, you didn't say. [00:18:54] Speaker A: Aww. [00:18:54] Speaker B: Aw. [00:18:55] Speaker A: He has like a wing wang. [00:18:57] Speaker B: He's a wing wing. [00:18:58] Speaker A: He has a wing. [00:18:58] Speaker B: Wing ding. A ling. Wing a ling. [00:19:00] Speaker A: You know? [00:19:01] Speaker B: All right, fine. On that note. [00:19:04] Speaker A: Mama clock's out. [00:19:05] Speaker B: Mama clock's out. [00:19:06] Speaker A: We love you. Happy third week of school. And I hope you're surviving. [00:19:10] Speaker B: And I hope everyone's getting into the swing of things. [00:19:12] Speaker A: Into the swing. Into the routines and spending time for yourself. Self care. Mama clock out. [00:19:16] Speaker B: Mama clock out. Self care. Go get a massage. Yeah. With a happy ending. Bye.
